York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Well-being Assistant Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves sharing knowledge. The Well-being Assistant Volunteer is responsible for: - Creating meaningful anti-bullying content to spread awareness - Engaging in virtual fitness sessions to promote healthy habits - Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment online - Representing YRES online Benefits: - Develop and enhance transferrable soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and communication - Gain experience and volunteer hours that you can put on your resumé - Free training - Free networking opportunities Requirements: - Minimum age: 12 - Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software - Complete training prior to start date - Can commit to the shift schedule We're looking forward to meeting you!
