Spend your summer helping protect Loggerhead sea turtles alongside locals and others from all over the world! Must be over 18 and speak/understand English/Portuguese and be able to commit at least 2 weeks between July-October. Main tasks Searching for nesting activity and nesting turtles and collecting data. Helping with tagging post-nesting turtles, carapace measuring and other data collection. Looking out for illegal poachers on the beach and reporting them to the patrol leader.
