Looking for an exciting new career in the world of horse racing? Our leading client is currently seeking a full-time jockey to join their team based in New York, USA. As a jockey, you will be responsible for riding and guiding horses during races and workouts, ensuring that the horse is able to perform at its best. You will need to be physically fit and have excellent horse riding skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities: Prepare horses for races and workouts by exercising, feeding and grooming them Ride and guide horses during races and workouts, using your knowledge of the horse's strengths and weaknesses to help them perform at their best Work with trainers to develop training plans for horses to help them improve their performance Communicate effectively with trainers, owners, and other members of the racing team Ensure that all equipment used is in good condition and meets safety requirements Follow all rules and regulations of the racing industry, including weight limits and safety protocols Maintain records of all races, workouts and training sessions Requirements: Proven experience as a jockey, with a record of successful races Excellent horse riding skills, with the ability to control and guide horses during races and workouts Physically fit and able to maintain weight limits required for racing Knowledge of horse racing industry and regulations Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records If you are passionate about horse racing and have the skills and experience required to excel as a jockey, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
