Looking for an exciting opportunity to work as a full-time veterinarian? Our client, a leading veterinary clinic in Melbourne, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate vet to join their team. As a vet, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to pets and their owners, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive physical examinations of animals and diagnosing their health problems
Prescribing medications and other treatments as required
Performing surgical procedures when necessary
Educating pet owners on proper care and management of their pets' health
Maintaining accurate medical records of all patients
Supervising and training veterinary assistants and other staff members
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in veterinary medicine
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in veterinary science or equivalent
Registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria
Proven experience as a veterinarian in a clinical setting
Strong surgical skills and experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
