Technical Project Manager

ITme is excited to partner with one of our leading clients in the Indianapolis area, who is seeking a talented Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful completion of technical projects from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, along with a technical background. Responsibilities: Develop project plans and schedules, and track progress towards the completion of the project Manage project resources, including staff, contractors, and vendors, to ensure timely and successful project completion Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executives in a timely and effective manner Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation and contingency plans as needed Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with experience managing software development projects Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong leadership and team management skills Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus PMP or other project management certification is a plus If you are a skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong technical background and a passion for driving successful project delivery, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with our client in Indianapolis.
