The Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. You will play a key role in providing high-quality tax services, ensuring compliance, and delivering tailored advice to our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities Prepare and lodge income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies. Conduct tax planning and provide strategic advice to minimize tax liabilities. Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and deadlines. Assist with financial statement preparation and BAS/IAS lodgments. Liaise with clients to gather financial information and address their queries. Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and industry best practices. Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional client outcomes. About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification (or working towards completion). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tax accounting or a similar role. Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and ATO compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and client relationship skills.
