Surveyor

Our client, a leading construction company in Minneapolis, is looking for a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join their team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping out construction sites to ensure that projects are completed to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities: Conducting field surveys to gather data and measurements using a variety of tools and equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones. Analyzing survey data and creating maps, plans, and reports using CAD and GIS software. Providing accurate survey information to project managers, architects, engineers, and construction crews to ensure that projects are completed to specifications. Collaborating with other professionals to resolve any design, construction, and/or compliance issues. Ensuring that all surveys comply with legal and safety standards. Maintaining equipment and tools, and reporting any maintenance or repair issues. Keeping accurate records of surveys, plans, and reports. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying or a related field. Proficiency in using GPS, total stations, and other surveying tools and equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in CAD and GIS software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
