As a Security Guard, your primary responsibilities will include:

4. Surveillance and Reporting: Utilize surveillance systems and equipment to monitor premises, detect potential threats, and deter criminal activity. Maintain accurate and detailed logs, incident reports, and daily activity records. Document any security breaches, violations, or irregularities and promptly report them to the appropriate authorities.
5. Customer Service: Interact with clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Provide assistance, directions, and information as required. Display excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for all individuals within the premises.
6. Safety Compliance: Familiarize yourself with safety regulations and protocols relevant to the assigned location. Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards or violations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and report any issues for timely resolution.
7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow security personnel, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders. Maintain effective communication channels to share important information, coordinate activities, and support each other in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard license or certification issued by the relevant authority.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar security role, preferably in a corporate, retail, or public setting.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and emergency response techniques.
- Excellent observation skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy to operate surveillance systems and generate reports.
- Exceptional integrity and a commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Availability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
- First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
