The position is based in Newcastle, UK, but this is a hybrid position with remote and work from home opportunities available. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails. Your main responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic, testing code for robustness and usability, and troubleshooting and debugging applications. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid understanding of Ruby on Rails, along with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. You should also have experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and agile methodologies.
