RTS Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the technology industry, is currently looking for a talented and experienced RTS Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. As a RTS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex real-time software systems that meet the needs of our clients. You will be working with a team of highly skilled professionals and will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle. Responsibilities: Design and develop complex real-time software systems for our clients Collaborate with other team members to create software that meets project requirements Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality software Maintain software and diagnose and fix defects as they arise Develop and maintain technical documentation to support the software development process Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on real-time systems Strong programming skills in C/C++ Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded systems, and device drivers Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others Location and Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position based in Nottingham, UK, with remote and work-from-home opportunities available.
