Our prestigious client based in Dublin, Ireland is currently looking for a skilled Roofer to join their team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for:
Roof Installation: Performing installations of various roofing systems, including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and shingles. Ensuring accurate measurements, proper insulation, and effective waterproofing.
Roof Repair and Maintenance: Conducting inspections to identify and diagnose roofing issues, such as leaks, cracks, or damage. Implementing timely repairs and maintenance activities to ensure the integrity and longevity of the roofs.
Material Selection and Procurement: Recommending and selecting appropriate roofing materials based on project requirements and budget constraints. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials to the job site.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times to maintain a secure working environment. Following proper procedures for working at heights, using safety equipment, and securing the job site.
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving roofing-related challenges effectively and efficiently. Troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions to ensure quality workmanship.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with other members of the construction team, such as contractors, builders, and architects, to coordinate roofing activities and ensure seamless project execution.
Quality Assurance: Conducting quality inspections to ensure that roofing installations meet industry standards and client specifications. Addressing any deficiencies and making necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Roofer in commercial or residential projects.
Strong knowledge of roofing techniques, materials, and systems.
Proficiency in roof installation and repair methods, including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and shingles.
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety protocols related to roofing work.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant certifications and licenses are advantageous.
