RIGGERS

Role description: • Estimating the size and weight of objects to be moved and deciding on appropriate equipment to be used; • Attaching load with grappling devices such as loops, wires, ropes and chains to crane hook; • Cleaning, dismantling and storing rigging equipment after the job is complete; • Performing lifts near power lines; • Shutting down and securing cranes when they are unattended; • Controlling movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces; • Working at heights, climbing ladders and stairways, working on platforms and man lifts; • Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures; • Monitoring, testing and maintaining rigging equipment before final use; • Manual handling activities; • Checking the safety and reliability to the rigging equipment on a timely basis; • Making signals or verbally directing workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials; Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment; • In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery; • Excellent hearing and vision; • Ability to work at heights; • Experience in construction industry and previous experience working as a Rigger; • Must know proper hand signals to communicate with equipment operator; • Basic transportation knowledge in regard to moving equipment and loads from one location to another; • English language is a must; • We do not provide a visa - workers need to have a permission to work in a European country; What we offer: • Competitive remuneration; • Work on a site in Belgium; • Accommodation provided; • PPE and instruments provided; • Flights are arranged and paid for by the company; • Transport provided to and from site; • Referral bonus; • Contract stipulated with a Bulgarian company - CJ Support Services Please, send your CV in ENGLISH to: [email protected] The personal data provided will be used for the purpose of recruitment only.
