Quantity Surveyor

A large civil construction company is currently looking for suitably experienced Quantity Surveyors for an immediate start in the Wellington area. Successful candidates must have the following qualifications/experience: Minimum of 7 years' verifiable experience or approved NZIQS Surveying Qualification Prior experience in an infrastructure or construction role Experience in project cost control and reporting, briefing clients, attending/chairing project meetings Experience in dealing with queries from clients, consultants, sub-contactors Experience in cost monitoring/reporting and budget tracking Experience in the administration of tender processes and procurement of sub-contracts Experience in the measurement of BOQ's, preparation of tender & contract document Experience in tender analysis and reporting, cash flow analysis and cost reporting, claims, variation and interim valuation analysis and final account analysis Experience in providing support on planning, the use of materials, resources, components or systems within the project, and construction practices and problems to ensure project success Experience in procurement and management Experience in programming of works Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent package available for the right candidate. Salary: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 /year
