Quantity Surveyor Internship

Job description: A large civil construction company is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor Intern for an immediate start in the Auckland area. Responsibilities: - Assisting the Commercial Manager & Senior Quantity Surveyors to prepare estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities, specifications and schedule of rates for new build, improvements and maintenance work. - Assisting the Commercial Manager & Senior Quantity Surveyors undertake financial checks and maintain financial controls and monitor costs of schemes against budget. - Attend any pre-contract, progress and other related meetings relating to the delivery of the Company's services. - Manage health and safety issues in your area of responsibility in line with the relevant section(s) of the relevant Health and Safety Policy. -Other ad-hoc duties
