Production Designer

Our client, a leading production company in Hong Kong, is looking for a skilled and experienced Film Production Designer to join their team. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the director, producers, and other departments to develop the overall visual style and design of the film. Create detailed sketches, storyboards, and computer-generated images to illustrate concepts and designs. Select and source props, set pieces, and other materials to create the desired look and feel for each scene. Oversee the construction and decoration of sets and locations to ensure they match the visual style and design of the film. Work closely with the costume designer, cinematographer, and lighting team to ensure all visual elements work seamlessly together. Manage a team of assistants and set decorators, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technology to continuously improve the quality of the final product. Requirements: Proven experience as a Film Production Designer or similar role in the film industry. Strong portfolio of previous work demonstrating your ability to create stunning and unique visual designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a team and convey your creative vision. Strong knowledge of design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Film, Design, or a related field.
