Key Responsibilities: 1. Planning & Coordination • Review piping drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and material specifications. • Prepare daily and weekly work schedules for piping installation. • Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, and other disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation). • Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower. 2. Site Supervision • Supervise fabrication, erection, and alignment of pipes, supports, valves, and fittings. • Verify that installation conforms to design drawings and project requirements. • Monitor and control the progress of piping works at the site. • Resolve technical issues related to installation and coordinate with engineering for clarifications (TQ/RFI). 3. Quality Assurance & Control • Ensure compliance with project quality standards and specifications. • Conduct inspections for fit-up, welding, and dimensional accuracy. • Witness and document pressure tests (hydro/pneumatic) as per test packs. • Liaise with QA/QC and third-party inspectors for approval of works. 4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) • Enforce strict adherence to safety rules and procedures. • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE at all times. • Report unsafe acts and conditions to the HSE officer. 5. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain daily progress reports, manpower logs, and equipment usage. • Update “as-built” drawings and mark-up isometrics. • Prepare test reports, punch lists, and handover documents. • Report work progress and issues to the Project Engineer/Manager. _
