Are you an experienced PHP Developer looking for a new opportunity to work on exciting projects? Our client, a leading software development company, is seeking a PHP Developer to join their team in Edinburgh. This is a contract role, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge projects, and provides remote and WFH opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Work on complex PHP applications and web solutions that are critical to the business
Design, develop, and maintain software using PHP and related frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to high quality standards
Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Ensure that code is optimized for performance and scalability
Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for development processes
Skills:
Proven experience in PHP development with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
Experience with MySQL or other database systems
Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Git or other version control systems is a plus
