Paid Audio Recording Study (Greek) About the Job We're looking for native Greek speakers residing in Greece who are also proficient in English to join a paid audio recording study. Who we're looking for Native Greek speakers, proficient in English Genuinely bilingual (for example, grew up speaking both languages, lived abroad, or regularly use both at work or home) Adults 18+ Comfortable speaking conversationally for extended periods (up to 30 minutes) Have a stable internet connection and an external microphone or headset What you'll do You'll join an online call with another participant. We'll record a natural conversation in Greek while you naturally mix in English words, phrases, or occasional sentences, as many bilingual speakers do in everyday life. This is called code-switching. Conversation guidelines Naturally include English in parts of the conversation, just as you would with bilingual friends or family Do not share any PII (Personally Identifying Information) Avoid toxic or sensitive topics Speak naturally and expressively, using normal pitch, rhythm, and intonation Engage in a responsive, back-and-forth conversation Greek Example: "Χτες πήγα σινεμά με την αδερφή μου, και anyway, the movie was so much better than I expected. Μετά πήγαμε να φάμε κάτι γρήγορο." We want natural code-switching, mostly using individual English words or short phrases, with full English sentences appearing less frequently. Possible conversation topics News events you've been following A topic you enjoy discussing, like a podcast conversation Stories using fictitious names and places (no real personal information) Finance, healthcare, customer service, restaurant experiences, or technology Important Session format Only native speakers are eligible 2 participants per recording Minimum 7 recordings per session Location: Remote, from your own device in a quiet environment with no background noise Compensation: $38.40 USD for a recording session lasting approximately 3.5 hours You may also invite a friend or family member to participate with you.
