Mortgage Broker

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Broker to join their team. As a Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with obtaining mortgage loans, evaluating their financial status, and providing guidance throughout the mortgage process. This is a full-time position based in San Diego. Responsibilities: Evaluate clients' financial status by analyzing their credit, income, and debt. Advise clients on various types of mortgages, including fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and interest-only loans. Communicate with lenders to obtain mortgage quotes, interest rates, and loan terms. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, including completing the necessary paperwork and gathering required documents. Explain mortgage terms and conditions to clients and ensure that they understand the implications of the loan they are considering. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws. Build and maintain relationships with clients and real estate professionals to generate new business opportunities. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker or Loan Officer. Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending guidelines, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and analyzing financial data. Knowledge of mortgage software and online tools. Active Mortgage Broker license in the state of California.
