As a full-time Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food items as per the recipes and quality standards set by the restaurant. Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer demand. Maintain proper food handling and safety practices in compliance with the Health and Safety regulations. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment as per the restaurant's cleaning standards. Follow the inventory control procedures, monitor stock levels, and order supplies as required. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, and ensure the correct storage conditions are maintained. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive and productive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Requirements: Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred. Excellent knowledge of food safety and handling practices. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Willingness to work in a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. High level of physical stamina and endurance. Relevant food safety certifications are an added advantage.
