Job Description
Are you passionate about technology and providing excellent customer service? Our leading client in Malta is currently seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
Providing technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Installing, configuring, and updating software and operating systems.
Setting up and managing networks and servers.
Providing proactive maintenance and monitoring to ensure system availability and performance.
Maintaining accurate documentation of IT assets and infrastructure.
Managing user accounts and access permissions.
Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed.
Collaborating with other IT professionals to implement new systems and upgrades.
Requirements:
Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications, are a plus.
