Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Information Security Specialist to join our dynamic team in the exciting Casino industry. Based in Gibraltar, this role will be pivotal in safeguarding our online gaming platforms, protecting sensitive customer data, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations. You will collaborate with IT, legal, and operational teams to implement security measures that prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and fraud, while ensuring the integrity of our gaming systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities within the company’s digital infrastructure, and develop plans to mitigate them.
Security Policy Development: Design, implement, and enforce security policies and protocols aligned with industry standards such as PCI-DSS and GDPR.
Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts for any security breaches or suspicious activities. Conduct forensic analysis and implement corrective actions.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international data security regulations, including Gibraltar Gambling Commission regulations, GDPR, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) laws.
Security Audits: Conduct internal and external security audits, ensuring compliance with casino industry regulations and the latest cybersecurity trends.
Data Encryption: Implement encryption and security protocols to safeguard financial transactions and personal customer data.
Threat Detection: Monitor security systems and networks for security breaches or intrusions. Deploy tools for real-time monitoring and threat detection.
Security Awareness Training: Educate and train employees on information security best practices, including recognizing phishing attacks and managing sensitive data.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to integrate security measures across various casino platforms, including online gaming portals and payment gateways.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in information security, preferably in the gaming or financial services industry.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and AML.
Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, SIEM, encryption, and VPNs.
Proficiency in security tools and platforms like Splunk, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
