Industrial Automation Expert

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid with remote and WFH opportunities) Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Expert to join their team as a full-time employee. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and automation opportunities Design and develop automation systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce production costs Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation systems and processes Work with vendors and suppliers to select and source automation equipment and technologies Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field 5+ years of experience in industrial automation design and development Strong technical skills in automation technologies, such as PLC, HMI, and SCADA Experience with project management and development life cycle methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
