2. Room Preparation: Prepare guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness. Ensure all amenities and supplies are stocked and functional. Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
3. Concierge Services: Assist guests with recommendations and reservations for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Provide information about hotel facilities and services. Handle guest requests and concerns efficiently, demonstrating a helpful and friendly attitude.
4. Front Desk Operations: Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and efficiently. Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
5. F&B Support: Assist in the smooth operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets. Serve guests in the dining areas, take orders, and deliver meals. Set up and clear tables, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.
6. Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and special events hosted at the hotel. Arrange event spaces, coordinate catering, and assist with audiovisual equipment setup.
7. Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolution. Escalate complex or unresolved matters to the appropriate department or management.
8. Safety and Security: Adhere to hotel safety and security procedures, including handling guest keys, monitoring surveillance systems, and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents. Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
9. Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across different departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and sales, to ensure seamless guest experiences. Communicate effectively and professionally with team members to achieve operational excellence.
10. Professionalism and Etiquette: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, adhering to the hotel's grooming and dress code policies. Demonstrate good manners, cultural sensitivity, and respect for guest privacy.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
