Gymnastic Coaches

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the team at our Te Rapa-based gymnastics club. Hours on offer are fluctuating throughout the week and weekend, and will depend on which classes have coach vacancies along with what level of coach is required for the class. We work with you and your timetable to see when you're available, and when we have classes that need coaches with your skill set. Relevant qualification or experience Superior communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders Have a commitment to continuous quality improvement of coaches sessions Physically be able to spot/shape participants and move equipment Be willing to work in and foster a Team Coaching environment with coaches of all abilities and experience Willing to assist athletes of all levels and abilities reach their potential Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and understand that sharing information empowers all of the team and is a necessary part of the role Able to work within the Sport NZ Code of Ethics Meet requirements of NZ Police Vet Check to work with children Education opportunities are offered through formal Gymnastics New Zealand qualifications, in house workshops, mentoring and a buddy coaching system. Formal qualifications are available after a term of coaching.
