GCP Cloud Engineer

Our leading client based in Gloucester is currently seeking a skilled and experienced GCP Engineer to join their team as a full-time employee. As a GCP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions for our client's customers. You will have experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and will be familiar with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. You will also be responsible for configuring and maintaining virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes clusters. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions for our client's customers using GCP Configure and maintain virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes clusters Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to optimize cloud infrastructure Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready and optimized for performance Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GCP-related issues Monitor and maintain security and compliance of cloud-based solutions Skills: Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using GCP Experience working with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Experience with virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes clusters Strong programming and scripting skills with languages such as Python or Bash Familiarity with networking and security concepts in a cloud environment Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based projects with a dynamic and collaborative team.
