Full Time Train Driver Needed in Basingstoke, UK

Recruit Drive is seeking a train driver to join one of our leading clients for a full time role in Basingstoke, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating trains, ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo, and following the designated timetable. Key Responsibilities: Operate trains safely and efficiently, in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transportation Maintain a high level of customer service at all times, including assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking Adhere to the designated timetable and make any necessary adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances Perform routine inspections of trains and report any defects or issues to management Communicate effectively with other members of the train crew and ground staff Follow all relevant rules and regulations, including those set by the Rail Safety and Standards Board Requirements: Minimum age of 21 years old Valid UK driver's license with no more than 3 penalty points Good physical health and ability to pass a medical examination Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Ability to follow strict procedures and regulations Comfortable working irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends Previous train driving experience is preferred but not essential Training will be provided for successful candidates If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
