Freelance Journalist Wanted

Our client, a reputable media company in Cyprus, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journalist to join their team as a freelance writer. As a Journalist, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing high-quality news and feature articles that inform, engage and entertain their audience. Responsibilities: Research and report on news and events relevant to the company's target audience Pitch, write and edit high-quality feature articles for online and print publications Conduct interviews with a variety of sources and fact-check information Collaborate with editors and other writers to ensure content is accurate, engaging and delivered on time Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations to improve content Requirements: Proven experience as a journalist or writer, preferably in a digital media environment Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and under tight deadlines Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms A degree in journalism, communications or a related field is preferred This is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work remotely.
