Package Handling and Security: Handle packages with care to prevent damage or loss during transportation. Safeguard packages against theft or unauthorized access, maintaining their integrity and security.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of the delivery vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timestamps, recipient signatures, and any delivery exceptions or issues. Complete required paperwork or digital documentation for each delivery.
Professionalism and Compliance: Conduct yourself professionally at all times, representing the company in a positive manner. Follow traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations to ensure safe and compliant delivery operations.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Own a reliable vehicle (car, van, or motorcycle) suitable for deliveries.
Excellent knowledge of the Dublin area, including streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying packages of varying weights.
Effective time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
