Freelance Camera Operator

Are you an experienced Camera Operator looking for exciting new opportunities in the film industry? Our leading client in Galway is currently seeking a talented and highly skilled Camera Operator to join their team on a freelance basis. As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of cameras and equipment to capture high-quality footage for film and television productions. You will work closely with the director of photography and other crew members to ensure that the vision of the project is executed to perfection. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Responsibilities: Collaborating with the director of photography and other crew members to determine the best camera angles, equipment, and lighting for each shot Operating a variety of cameras, including hand-held and stationary cameras, and making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired shot Maintaining and organizing camera equipment, including lenses, filters, tripods, and other accessories Keeping up to date with the latest camera and equipment technologies and techniques Ensuring that all footage is captured in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest level of quality Troubleshooting technical issues as they arise during filming Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment Requirements: Proven experience as a Camera Operator in the film industry Extensive knowledge of camera equipment and technology Strong technical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the project If you are a highly skilled and experienced Camera Operator with a passion for capturing stunning visuals and telling compelling stories, we would love to hear from you.
