Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Operations: Safely navigate through Sydney's streets to deliver food orders to customers' locations within the designated delivery area. Ensure timely and accurate delivery to maintain customer satisfaction.
2. Order Verification: Check and verify food orders before leaving the restaurant or food outlet to ensure accuracy and completeness. Double-check any special instructions or dietary requirements provided by customers to ensure a seamless delivery experience.
3. Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your delivery vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Regularly inspect the vehicle for any issues or concerns, such as tire pressure, fuel levels, and oil changes.
4. Navigation and Time Management: Utilize GPS navigation tools and follow the most efficient routes to deliver orders promptly. Manage your time effectively to fulfill multiple orders within the specified delivery window.
5. Customer Service: Provide a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers at the delivery location. Ensure a positive customer experience by delivering orders with a smile, adhering to any special requests, and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and courteously.
6. Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain the quality and integrity of delivered food. Adhere to road safety regulations and exercise caution while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
7. Problem Solving: Resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies, such as missing items or incorrect orders, in a timely and effective manner. Communicate promptly with the customer support team to address and resolve customer concerns.
8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, time logs, and any customer feedback or special instructions. Provide necessary documentation as required by the client or the recruitment agency.
Skills and Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
- Excellent knowledge of Sydney's roads, suburbs, and navigation tools.
- Strong time management skills to ensure prompt and efficient delivery.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and handle cash transactions securely.
