Looking for a passionate and experienced Fishmonger to join a leading seafood company in Auckland, NZ. Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual who can manage and maintain the quality of the seafood produce in their store. As a Fishmonger, you will be responsible for filleting, trimming, and cutting a range of seafood products as well as ensuring a high standard of customer service is provided. Responsibilities: Preparing, displaying, and maintaining high-quality seafood produce for sale Filleting, trimming, and cutting a variety of seafood products Maintaining accurate inventory records and managing stock levels Ensuring high levels of customer service by providing knowledgeable advice and answering customer queries Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace Supporting the team with other duties as required Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Fishmonger A passion for seafood and a strong understanding of different fish varieties and preparation techniques Excellent knife skills and attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills The ability to work efficiently and independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required A commitment to health and safety regulations If you are a dedicated and experienced Fishmonger looking for a new challenge, please apply with your CV and cover letter today.
