This is a contract role with the opportunity for remote work. Job Description: Our client is looking for an Elastic Engineer to join their team and help them manage their Elasticsearch cluster. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Managing and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters in production and non-production environments. Designing and implementing Elasticsearch architecture and indexing strategies to support a wide range of search and analytics use cases. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Elasticsearch performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborating with other teams to ensure that Elasticsearch is properly integrated with other systems and applications. Monitoring Elasticsearch health, usage, and capacity, and taking appropriate action to ensure system availability and performance. Providing technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders. Qualifications: Strong experience with Elasticsearch and related technologies, such as Logstash, Kibana, and Beats. Experience in designing and deploying Elasticsearch clusters in a production environment. Proficiency in Elasticsearch architecture, indexing strategies, search and analytics use cases, and cluster management. Familiarity with Elasticsearch best practices, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Good understanding of data management and integration technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, and ETL. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
