Info-Expertise is excited to be partnering with one of our leading clients, a global IT services company, in their search for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. Responsibilities:
Design, implement and manage security solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client data and systems
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Monitor and respond to security incidents and events, investigate and analyze security breaches, and recommend appropriate actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls for cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management and clients
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, with a strong understanding of security principles and best practices
Knowledge of industry-standard security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management systems (SIEM)
Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, network security, and encryption technologies
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
