Job Description
Looking for a dynamic and engaging Conference Staff to join our leading client's team in Birmingham. As a Conference Staff, you will play a crucial role in the success of events by providing top-notch customer service to guests and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This is a casual role with flexible hours and perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
Provide direction and assistance to guests as needed
Set up and take down conference rooms and equipment
Ensure conference rooms are clean and presentable
Assist with food and beverage service
Monitor and maintain inventory of conference supplies
Assist with any other tasks as needed to ensure a successful event
Requirements:
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a conference or event setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
