Community Workers - We Need You!!!

Our client, a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Worker to join their team in Gold Coast, Australia. As a Community Worker, you will be responsible for supporting and advocating for individuals and families in need, as well as providing them with resources to improve their quality of life. Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and community organizations to identify and address community needs Develop and implement strategies and programs to promote community engagement and participation Provide emotional support and counseling to individuals and families facing social, economic, or personal challenges Advocate for clients and assist them in navigating social services, healthcare, and educational systems Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and goals, and develop and monitor individualized care plans Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress towards goals Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field At least 2 years of experience working with marginalized communities and individuals facing complex challenges Knowledge of community resources and services available to support clients Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills Empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental approach to working with clients If you are passionate about making a positive impact in your community and meet the requirements above, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
