Business Development Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Officer to spearhead our expansion efforts in Romania. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Romanian market. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and build relationships with companies in Romania that require recruitment support. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries in Romania that require recruitment services. Establish and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, understanding their staffing needs and offering tailored recruitment solutions. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive the growth of our operations in Romania. Liaise with the UK headquarters to align business objectives and ensure smooth communication between teams. Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective clients to secure partnerships. Provide regular updates and reports on market trends, challenges, and opportunities in Romania. Assist in the administrative setup of the recruitment agency in Romania, including compliance with local laws and regulations. Requirements: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry. Strong knowledge of the Romanian business landscape and labour market. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Romanian and English. Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations is a plus.
