Bricklayer

As a bricklayer, you will be responsible for building and repairing brick walls, arches, and other structures. You must have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks. Mix mortar and spread it evenly on the surfaces to be covered. Lay bricks in accordance with construction plans, ensuring that the wall is level, plumb and straight. Cut and shape bricks using hammers, chisels, or power tools. Follow safety procedures at all times and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure the smooth running of the project. Requirements: Proven experience as a bricklayer in a construction environment. Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques. Ability to read and interpret construction plans. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
