Responsibilities:
1. Ticket Sales and Distribution: Assist customers in person or over the phone, providing accurate and friendly service for ticket sales and distribution. Process transactions efficiently and ensure that customers receive the correct tickets.
2. Box Office Operations: Operate computerized ticketing systems to process ticket sales, exchanges, and refunds. Maintain an organized and efficient box office workspace, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
3. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and handling complaints in a professional and timely manner. Assist patrons with seating arrangements and accessibility needs.
4. Event Information: Have a thorough understanding of upcoming events, including dates, times, seating arrangements, and ticket prices. Effectively communicate event information to customers, guiding them in making informed ticketing decisions.
5. Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Accurately handle cash transactions, including cash, credit card, and digital payments. Reconcile daily sales and deposits, following proper cash-handling procedures.
6. Ticketing System Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance and updating of the ticketing system, including event setup, seat assignments, and pricing updates. Ensure accurate and up-to-date event information within the system.
7. Will Call Services: Manage will call services, ensuring that customers receive their tickets promptly and efficiently. Verify customer identification and process ticket pickups in compliance with established procedures.
8. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports related to ticket sales, attendance, and customer feedback. Maintain accurate records of ticket inventory, sales, and financial transactions.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other box office staff, ushers, and event personnel to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers. Assist with crowd management and coordinate efforts during peak periods.
10. Venue Support: Provide general support to the venue operations, including assisting with event setup, signage placement, and customer flow management. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized box office area.
Skills and Requirements:
