Location: Budapest, Hungary Property: Poppy Island — a large, premium Airbnb for up to 20 guests Type: Ongoing freelance (KATA or equivalent, invoicing required) Pay: €1,400–€2,000+ per month (performance-based) Start: Immediate About the Role We operate one of Budapest’s most premium short-term rentals — a beautifully designed, high-capacity home with sweeping views of the Danube and Parliament. Guests pay for excellence, and we expect to deliver it in every detail. We’re seeking a Property & Guest Experience Manager — local, reliable, and deeply service-oriented — who will take full ownership of ensuring every stay is five stars. This role is more than logistics; it’s hospitality at the highest level. You’ll delight guests, anticipate needs, and turn any issue into a positive experience. Responsibilities • Act as the property’s on-the-ground leader and main guest contact. • Oversee cleaning and maintenance teams; inspect every detail before arrival. • Manage guest communication before, during, and after stays. • Restock and organize supplies; ensure amenities are perfect and ready. • Handle issues quickly and gracefully, always protecting the guest experience. Ideal Candidate You thrive on service, precision, and problem-solving. You have strong organizational skills, high emotional intelligence, and excellent communication in English and Hungarian. You live in or near Budapest and can access the property daily. You are trustworthy, kind, and take pride in excellence. Compensation There is a three tiered structure of base salary, commission of revenue, and performance bonus.
