Description

The Peer Learning Senior Associate reports to the Director of Peer Learning and supports the design, development, and delivery of global learning initiatives that strengthen financial sector stakeholders’ ability to understand, serve, and advance Women’s Markets programs. The role manages a portfolio of learning programs engaging public and private sector financial institutions across 160+ countries. Combining project management, learning design, and stakeholder engagement, the position oversees end-to-end delivery of digital and in-person learning programs. Working closely with experts, banking practitioners, and development finance partners, the candidate ensures learning content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices. The ideal candidate has a passion for advancing women’s economic empowerment through the financial sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Plan & execute global peer learning events, workshops, and conferences, managing all aspects. •Manage online learning programs for financial sector professionals. •Create engaging digital learning content, tools, and resources that support institutions in developing and implementing Women's Markets Programs. •Manage the administration and optimization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning tools. •Oversee the end-to-end management of peer learning programs, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. •Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality learning initiatives. •Lead the management, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the Alliance's Learning Hub. •Convert live events (workshops, webinars, conference sessions, etc.) into engaging, self-paced online learning courses and digital knowledge products. Personal Competencies o Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over projects. o Friendly and a team player. o Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholders. o Able to work remotely or in a multicultural group setting. o Flexible and willing to contribute across different projects and types of activities. o Willing to travel to emerging markets. Candidate based in Europe only (ideally Spain or Portugal). Excellent written and fluent spoken English & Spanish required. Payment discussed in person.
